This Privacy Policy describes how Hanpo ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Hanpo Easy Table of Contents Shopify app ("the App").

The App accesses the following data from your Shopify store solely to provide its functionality:

• Shop domain and basic store information (required for app authentication via Shopify OAuth)
• App installation metadata (stored in Shopify app-owned metafields on your store)

The App does NOT access:

• Customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, etc.)
• Order data
• Product data
• Payment information

2. How We Use Information

We use the information solely to:

• Authenticate the app installation
• Store your TOC display settings (colors, font size, heading levels, plan status) within your own Shopify store as app-owned metafields

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Shopify: The App is built on the Shopify platform and is subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).
• Shopify Billing API: Paid plan subscriptions are processed entirely through Shopify's Billing API. We do not collect or store any payment information.

4. Data Retention

Settings saved via the app are stored as metafields on your Shopify store. When you uninstall the App, Shopify removes these metafields according to Shopify's standard data deletion policies.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
