Celebrity (musician, actor, voice actor, comedian, etc.) official website with information as comprehensive as Wikipedia (including SEO considerations)

公開日: 更新日:

Hello! 😃

On a related note, what do you usually do when you discover a new musician, actor, or comedian?

Most likely, you would:

  • Search for images (Google, etc.)
  • Search for videos (YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
  • Read articles that appear in search results

And then,

  • Read Wikipedia

Isn't that right?

Have you ever thought, "Maybe I should check out their official website, just a quick glance later...?"

I certainly have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, when I asked around my company, not a single person said they would go to the official page first...

But don't you think something feels a bit off?

Ideally, an official website should encompass:

  • Artist photos
  • Portfolio (work history)
  • Biography (story)
  • YouTube embeds of their representative works
  • Listening/viewing methods (CDs, streaming, YouTube channels, etc.)
  • Contact information
  • Latest collaboration information

And should be the most up-to-date and reliable source of information.

However, in reality, isn't it often the case that the information is divided across multiple pages, and the amount of information is quite limited (or even non-existent)?

In the apparel and entertainment industries, branding is paramount, so maintaining an "おしゃれ感" (sense of style/sophistication) is truly important.

And a sense of mystery is also crucial for that stylish feel.

Therefore, official websites are often designed to be simple.

But for new potential fans, they already know the artist is cool/cute, and they want information beyond that.

And at that moment, their excitement is running wild.

That's why it's confusing if they can't find information quickly, and if they start to lose interest because there isn't enough information after they've begun to like someone, it can be quite frustrating to keep following them later, right?💦

So, how about having more "official websites with a single page that has the depth and comprehensiveness of Wikipedia, which is also effective for SEO and user-friendly"?

  • Links to magazine interview articles
  • Past media appearances
  • Activity timeline
  • Explanations of representative works
  • Contact window for stakeholders

If all of this is consolidated into one place, it would be amazing for first-time visitors! 🎉

Wouldn't it be great to have an official website that maintains a sense of style and mystery while still providing all the necessary information? (Mainly for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
