A service that hosts popular English-speaking and Chinese-speaking services (SaaS, BaaS, PaaS, IaaS) on Japanese domestic servers.

Hello! 😃

It's an undeniable fact that the heartland of IT is the English-speaking world, and next in population is the Chinese-speaking world.

This means that SaaS, BaaS, and PaaS that are popular in English-speaking and Chinese-speaking regions can be considered the de facto global standards.

However, implementation in Japan can be quite challenging.

Often, information is primarily in foreign languages, and Japanese documentation or support is scarce, which can be discouraging during implementation. I feel that we could make this part easier 💭

Before that, there are many cases where people don't even know about these services. That's understandable, as there's no Japanese information, so they don't show up in searches.

That's why I thought it would be a good idea to mass-produce services that host open-source versions of popular services on Japanese domestic servers, offered with Japanese-quality customer support.

For example:

  • WordPress (the world's largest blogging system)
  • Supabase (easy-to-use real-time DB and authentication)
  • Wiki.js (Wikipedia-like knowledge sharing within companies)
  • Alist (a file server that connects to various formats)
  • Dify (a system that connects multiple AIs)

I believe that simply hosting these globally popular tools (which may not be as popular in Japan) domestically would significantly enhance the sense of security regarding response times and compliance with Japanese laws.

Specifically, if there were a system where operation, security, and incident response could be received in Japanese, I imagine that the barrier to entry would be lowered, and many teams could more easily use world-class tools.

Clearly, if cumbersome initial setup and troubleshooting are reduced, it would really help both developers and operations staff, wouldn't it? ☺️

Especially in the engineering community, there's a prevailing notion that if you can't quickly read English, you're not "cool," but I don't think there are that many people who are actually proficient in English...

As a result, I imagine that Japan's IT industry would quickly catch up to global service levels, and users could use these services with peace of mind.
