Digital giant windows/digital paintings that display scenery, video, and information

On a side note, wouldn't you like to spend every day looking at views like those from a hotel deep in the mountains, by the sea, or by a lake?
Actually, our company used to have an office that was right in the heart of the city, directly connected to a station, and on high ground, yet with mountains right outside the window—meaning the metropolis spread out dramatically beyond beautiful flowers and trees.
Unfortunately, we had to leave that location due to reasons like expanding our team, but the creative mind stimulation every day was absolutely amazing 😎
(Our CEO still occasionally gazes into the distance, wishing to go back 😂)
In reality, such environments often come with unpleasant issues like:
- Exorbitant rent
- Extreme distance
- No vacancies
- Or all of the above
These can be real headaches.
So, I thought, why not simply create a digital window on the wall and display a magnificent view there?
The idea itself is ancient.
However, technology had not yet caught up.
In the past, projectors were the undisputed kings of large screens.
But as you know, projectors are dim and prone to blurring.
Even if you project onto an entire wall, it simply can't compare to reality.
But times have changed. Greatly, they have changed dramatically.
Now, even high-quality 100-inch class OLED and Mini LED displays cost less than 300,000 yen per unit.

Two of these side-by-side can fill most walls.
If you need something even larger, outdoor giant LED displays are also an option.
(If you disregard the cost, that is...😂)
Of course, if cost is a priority, a projector is perfectly fine too.
Even with a complete system for video distribution and management, you can get a magnificent view that would typically cost hundreds of thousands of yen in move-in fees and tens of thousands in monthly rent, all for an initial investment of just a few hundred thousand yen.
So, what exactly would you display?
- Fixed-point observation cameras
- Video works
- Magnificent scenery videos owned by hotels or video production companies
And if needed, based on these, you could subtly display:
- A clock
- Weather forecasts
This way, you could enjoy a breathtaking view that's like being in a luxury hotel with a clock floating in a glass window made of transparent liquid crystal, a sight so stunning it could make your nose bleed!
The era has arrived where you can experience a Seychelles sunset in the evening, the aurora at night, and a Caribbean beach upon waking... all with the brightness and resolution of a real view.
