Home appliances with improved feedback and settings confirmation/modification experience
公開日: 更新日:Japan has traditionally had a strong home appliance industry.
However, Japanese home appliances fundamentally suffer from a core weakness: they mostly manage settings through limited indicator lights or small, crude screens, resulting in very poor feedback and making it extremely difficult to check or change settings during operation.
- How intensely is the microwave heating the food right now?
- Can the washing machine's water level be immediately understood?
- Is the refrigerator's set temperature appropriate for the ambient temperature?
- Is it possible to turn off unnecessary beeping sounds?
These are often understood only by users who have used the appliance for many years, or by its developers. While smartphone integration is gradually progressing, the pace of development is overwhelmingly slower compared to home appliances in America and China. Alternatively, in some cases, the extreme push for smart home appliance integration has left users behind.
As a result, most Japanese home appliance users deal with this by either using them with a vague sense of effort or by sticking to the same usage methods for many years.
This means that only a tiny fraction of the appliance's inherent potential is being utilized, which is a significant waste of Japan's high technological capabilities.
At our company, we believe that by applying our knowledge of web development, smartphone development, and robotics development, we can develop solutions to improve feedback without having to build home appliances from scratch.
