A Tool to Instantly Tell if This Smartphone or PC is a "Real Bargain"

Whenever you think about replacing your smartphone or computer, do you ever wonder, "Is it really okay to buy this now?" Lol.
Benchmarks, prices, days since release, OS support status... there's so much to consider that it often brings down my spirits.
No one wants to lose out, and I wish it were easier to make a decision.
So, I thought, wouldn't it be convenient to have a tool that instantly tells you "how good a deal" the device you're currently interested in is? 😀
For example, combining benchmark scores with actual selling prices to generate a "cost-performance index," estimating the likelihood of a price drop based on days since release, or displaying the remaining OS support period would surely increase peace of mind.
It would be much easier to make a decision if the results suggested things like, "You should buy it now," or "You should wait a bit longer and compare it to other models." ☺️
I think ease of comparison is particularly important.
If multiple options were displayed side-by-side with differences highlighted in color, I think people could intuitively decide, "I'll pass this time" or "This performance is a buy." Notification features that inform about price changes or push notifications during sales would also reduce the chances of missing the best time to buy.
I envision the service being offered as:
- An easy-to-use web service
- A smartphone app for quick reference while shopping
- A Chrome extension for in-depth browser comparisons
I thought that if there were a mechanism where users input conditions and it automatically collected multiple data points and scored them, the time spent comparing and contemplating would be significantly reduced.
